Bug fixes + plans


Hi! Whilst working on Aeternitas, I was made aware of a few more bugs thanks to feedback, and also finally found out why one of the more gamebreaking bugs was occuring, so I'm adding a bug fix! You may find that the storage of the game has increased, mainly because Aeternitas content is there, though I have made sure that you cannot access the area yet (Then again, I have to teleport there through a dev tool to get there), but that's the reason for the storage increase :0

WHATS CHANGED?

- The battle against Asmodeus in the prologue happened to be bugged and would cause the player to constantly loop in the scene which happened prior to the battle, this was triggered by defeating Asmodeus, as it wasn't meant to happen. To combat this, you can still beat Asmodeus, and it won't result in a glitch. The switch is now triggered when the battle starts rather than when he defeats the team, so it no longer loops.

- Illumins voicelines are now in the game! You can hear them in the opening scene, thanks to Maya Ann to voicing her! More lines will be added in the future for ALL characters ! :)

- There is now a beach area if you follow the path downwards to Illumins home, in Alinos. There isn't much there, but I thought I'd state the map HAS been added-- There will be content there in a later update, but at the moment it will be primarily a place leading to a characters home and Rizawa.

AND THE KICKSTARTER...?

I've been mentioning a Kickstarter left and right for years now, and I can finally say that I'm in the process of making digital products which will be sold on Ko-Fi to help raise funds for the game! While I can still continue development out of pocket, it really helps in the long run. There is also physical products like keychains and acrylic stands that i am considering, the price would be the manufacturing cost and an extra $2 -- which is basically the donation and manufacturing cost in one! And as you can guess, yes, it will be hosted on Ko-Fi -- you will be bale to see the funds raised at all time and it will be there for a long time rather than a month or two, though pre orders won't stay there forever. I think this is the most compatible way for myself and the rest of the dev team to deal with as I'm not the best financial wise...or I'm not a money person in words!!!

I'll defintely be making  a seperate post when that is up though!!

MARIAM

Mariam is going to be a little crossover character, from a different Rivenverse...Title? I used to also mention a seperate game called Memory Mode, and I've since ''renovated'' this idea to be a seperate game; still developed in RMMV of course since it;s my magnum opus at this point :sob:

This game is In Memoriam, it will be updated with the main game once intitially uploaded, and will go over various character backstories, for example; Yaldabaoth, Godslayer Exodus, Poult, etc. Characters who you will see on screen, but backstories are not explored in the main game. And that is why In Memoriam exists!! It's set after the main games story, and includes Aether, though I will avoid spoilers to what exactly happens in the main game, if that makes sense? It's in the future, different enviroment, but a set one, too.

In Memoriam will be free, unlike this main game which is very soon to reaching the 2 hours of playtime, which I then said I will make the game at sale for $5 until we hit 3 hours, or after Aeternitas is fully released, bug fixes and all...While that ongoes-  I refurbish old things to make sure it is at a............paid quality!!!! I don't know a better way to word it.


ANYWAY, we hit 60 downloads at the time of sending this and I would really like to say how grateful I am to that happening!! Work on Aeternitas is going very smoothly --
